Mass transport is i think the biggest hurdle for PH. It’s hard to go between cities especially in Manila. If they can solve that I think it will accelerate its progress.

What a bunch of malarkey!! Nice to be optimistic but I'm a realist. Eradicate poverty? hahahaha. How many times did administrations made this into their battle cry? The reality is that poverty will continue to expand in the Philippines. Why? everything can be bought in the Philippines. laws barely works. Laws mainly work for the rich and powerful. Corrupt politicians create laws to protect themselves. Almost everyone can be bribed. From the judges, the military, police, politicians down to your everyday pinoy. Why do you think the politicians keep a lot of people poor? because they can buy their votes during every election. Eradicate poverty? hahahahahaha! The most corrupt are your average Filipino and the poor. The only difference bet. them and the corrupt politicians are the poor will stay poor and the corrupt politicians are the one's that will benefit financially. Poor families made 5-7,000 pesos per vote during the election. If you have 10 family members that can vote, that's 70,000 pesos which for some, is more than they will see in two years.

1) The sewers, that terrible smell makes people dont want to visit philippines again.
2) Lack of sidewalks, making you have to walk in streets, making transport go slow.
3) Trash everywhere
4) Internet speed, hopefully Elon Musk fixes this with hes Starlix project
5) Cable managements in the street.
Philippines have the most beautiful beaches, and very beautiful islands, it could have been such an attractive place. and if they just fixed these things about, they would be one of the most visited country.

I hope Philippines will develop with the help of China. Going with US would be a bad choice as US would only use Philippines for its own interest. Just look at Asia, Africa, and Latin America. US kept them impoverished all those years for its own gain. It would be building infrastructure and economy development through trade with China. I hope that would happen despite the US stirring up instability in Asia for their own interest.

With a polulation of about 110 million, let's put that a a conservative 25 million people. Of those, its easy to see that at least 1 to 2 million are unable to properly feed themselves.
