Not sure if this is entirely accurate. At least at my company, we are getting resumes by the hundreds, much more than what it was before the pandemic. Are they exiting the formal workforce and entering the informal one not tracked by these reports etc.? 900 million people sitting at home not doing anything will not be sustainable, there's something here that's not adding up.
