I went to shang-chi not knowing much about the movie (character and story I knew, I did not know about the cast and plot) and I was so happy and amazed that I also got Tony Leung as the antagonist.

I hope people who see this interview watch some of the movies mentioned because they are honestly so stunning. Wong Kar Wai's Hong Kong Trilogy will always be my favorite set of movies. To capture the nostalgia in the handover of Hong Kong within a tragic story of unrequited love goes beyond all of my favorite poetry and art.

Shang Chi could’ve been entirely in Chinese and I still would’ve loved it the same. Tony Leung is an amazing actor and seeing him as Xu Wen Wu/The Mandarin was amazing. The pain in his eyes made me root for him. Definitely in my #1 favorite villain in front of Thanos in my Top 5 favorite villains.
