Well a torturer needs to know biology to know how to hurt but not kill, maybe chemistry for drug torture and phycology for knowing the best way to break them. And if it's a smart torturer they can do maths cos you more or less need that for science subjects.

Totally fair question and you are completely right; not all dictators are tyrants. In American terms though, we usually view dictators as bad in principal. Americans are usually instilled with democracy as a means to rule and never like being dictated to.
