It’s damage control. They never intended to give these for free. I read it’s already in their patch notes. It’s a bundle consists of the glider, namecard, a furniture and 1000 primogems. Costs $30. I guess we never going to get anything in the first place. Welp, I’ll take whatever is given. But the damage has been done. This shows how the company is treating their players. I’m still going to play the game since I’ve already invested some money for the characters I wanted. For the gameplay, and the story. It just hurts :’)

I was happy with the anniversary rewards so far, even if Mihoyo had decided to only give us 60 primos I wouldn't be mad. From a business perspective, I would understand the decision, but the fact that more rewards are coming does indeed bring a smile to my face

Anniversaries are when new players come. so giving many primo or item keep old players playing and help new comers.Plus seeing how players react to anniversary, beeing stingy was the bad business decision And for money don't worry they have it (more than a billion in 1 year boy, which is many times more than other gacha )

@RoyLecteur Well, a lot of smaller gacha games have to give tons of rewards so they can have more players to come, while genshin already has a lot of players, so the company doesn't have to give a bunch of rewards..?I don't know.

The feeling is complicated, sad because genshin has been damaged before these rewards come, happy because finally we get something to remember the 1st anniversary other than the backlash, and the glider really fits the Traveler's color scheme, I use the Traveler as a main DPS so I like it very much ngl

For people that are saying "The Anniversary Reward is not why I play the game." First thing first, yes Genshin is a good game. What we, the players are complaining about is that they need to also listen to global players. The only way we can get them to listen is by review bombing them and spamming their Discord. This is not about The Anniversary Reward, this is about the communication between global players and Mihoyo or rather lack there of.

MiHoYo has been generous in the whole year tbh. But players like me really had high expectations for the anniversary rewards nevertheless I am still grateful and the hardwork of the staffs to continuously improve the game. I think Genshin Impact itself is my reward I never played something that will make a part of my daily life.
