China started reforestation 40 years ago and the entire world laughed at them, but right now, most countries are starting reforestation too, after they saw the desert turning green from space. Over the years the Chinese created several methods for reforestation and they taught other countries too. Currently, China already planted 20+ billion trees. Wang's family was just one of the success stories.
