Yeah, everyone’s complaining that it’s just not entertaining enough, forgetting that for many people one of the most entertaining parts of sports is connecting with other fans and enjoying games together. There’s no real community for women’s sports, so for someone like me who watches to get swept up in the fun of it, I have less incentive to watch.

While promotion and attention are certainly lacking, a big issue with women's sports right now is that in a lot of leagues/tournaments/etc, there is a lack of parity that makes things unexciting. Typically there are a few dominant teams and everyone else just gets demolished, making most games undramatic.

Most people want to watch people who are competing at the top level of their sport, and the fact of the matter is that almost all the top athletes in any given sport are men. The whole reason we have women's sports is to give women the ability to be competitive.
